We all know that Apple is the number one company in modern technologies. That is why the company has decided to change strategy in the new version of iTunes
The ranking system iTunes store uses now for its Apps is based on downloads and speed of the App. It is reported that Apple is about to make some changes to it.
Since late July through August, Apple Marketing has been testing a new ranking method, which is listing App orders according to its customer rating scores. It turns out the ones with higher ratings attracts more downloads.
Even though we are not sure if Apple is going to use customer rating to replace the current ranking system, we are still positive that the customer rating will play a key role in the future App Ranking system.
